MOVE is more than a space. It’s a community project, dedicated to making dance, circus, acrobatics and many more movement practices accessible for all of Ōtautahi, Christchurch to enjoy.
Equipped with a sprung timber floor, mirrors, ceiling height of 6m, a floor area of 10m x 20m, and sound and lighting. This studio is able to be split into two using a retractable semi acoustic divider wall.
Featuring 20 height adjustable rigging points on a 12m height Gantry grid. A 15m x 15m sprung timber floor area, crash mats, tumbling floor.
This studio is split into 2 areas – In the upper level is a dry dive foam pit with 2 springboards and an inbuilt floor trampoline, built in compliance with World Aquatics regulations. With a dividing half wall between spaces, the lower level of the studio has a sprung wood floor area of 13m x 8m and wall mirrors.
