EMERGE Aotearoa is a not-for-profit charitable trust that provides community-based mental health, addiction, disability support and social housing services nationwide to people who are vulnerable or marginalised within their communities.
MOVE partnered with EMERGE Aotearoa to bring a pilot class to EMERGE staff under the initiative “Sweat with Pride”. The goal was to facilitate the establishment of new relationships through the development of friendly, safe, and supportive community-driven projects.
Ultimately, MOVE’s outreach programmes aspire to contribute to the overall improvement of an area by nurturing local communities and expanding their access to the benefits of circus arts.
