Cancellation Policy
  • Term bookings and workshops: 7+ days notice.

 

  • Single classes: 24+ notice.

 

Bookings cancelled after these timeframes are not eligible for refunds or class credits, unless a booking error or technical issue occurred within our booking system.

Participants can join a waitlist up until 60 minutes before class. If a space becomes available, they’ll automatically be added and notified through the booking system. If no place becomes available, the payment will remain as credit on their Mindbody account.

These terms and conditions apply to all classes, workshops and activities delivered by MOVE Ōtautahi Inc (MOVE). 

  • By attending or participating in any MOVE class, workshop or activity (“Activities”), you acknowledge that MOVE has taken reasonable steps to provide a safe and enjoyable environment. However, unforeseen circumstances or accidents may occur that are beyond MOVE’s control.
  • Many MOVE Activities involve physical movement and exertion. You confirm that you are in suitable physical condition to participate and understand that there are inherent risks associated with movement-based activities, including the possibility of personal injury. 

Participation is undertaken at your own risk.

  • You agree not to participate in any Activity in a manner that may endanger yourself or others including attending while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • You agree to inform MOVE staff prior to participation if:
    • You are taking prescribed medication that may affect your ability to safely participate; and/or
    • You have any injury, medical condition or physical limitation that requires consideration during Activities.
  • You agree to comply with all MOVE policies, safety guidelines and any reasonable instructions provided by MOVE staff at all times.
  • If your behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate, or if you fail to follow MOVE’s policies or staff instructions, MOVE reserves the right to ask you to cease participation and/or leave the premises. In such cases, no refund or compensation will be provided.
  • Physical guidance or adjustments may occasionally be offered by instructors to assist with alignment, posture or technique. You accept responsibility for notifying instructors of any injuries or conditions that may be impacted by physical contact.
  • If you observe any unsafe behaviour or hazardous conditions before, during or after an Activity, you agree to notify a MOVE staff member as soon as reasonably possible.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, MOVE and its board members, employees, contractors, representatives, volunteers and service providers accept no liability for personal injury, loss or damage sustained as a result of participation in MOVE Activities.

 

Photo and Video Consent

From time to time, photographs or video recordings may be taken during MOVE Activities. Participants will be advised when filming or photography is occurring.

If you do not consent to being photographed or filmed, you must inform MOVE staff at the time the Activity is taking place. 

If no objection is raised, you consent to the following:

  • MOVE may take photographs and videos of you during Activities.
  • All images and recordings remain the property of MOVE.
  • MOVE may use these images and recordings for lawful purposes including, but not limited to, promotional, educational, advertising, social media, website and marketing content, in print or digital formats.
  • You waive the right to inspect or approve finished materials featuring your image.
  • You waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from the use of such images or recordings.
