Vasega Gogo (6-9 years)

A gentle introduction to Siva Samoa, inspired by the guiding spirit of the Gogo.

The Gogo (frigate bird) represents guidance and navigation, always returning home.

This beginner class supports young tama’ita’i to build confidence, connection, and foundational skills in a safe, welcoming space – returning to movement, culture, and self with care and pride.

Requirements:

For female participants aged 6 – 9 years old

Price:

$15 (on-line booking, MOVE Dance+ concession card or payment on the day)

$120 Term Booking (online booking or payment on the day). Term bookings can be made in full, or via a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance invoiced halfway through the term. Pule Siva

Fa‘aalualu Fetū Siva

Pule Siva has over 20 years of experience performing and teaching Polynesian, urban, and commercial dance. Trained at the Excel School of Performing Arts, she has a strong foundation in movement and a deep passion for sharing it. Through her work with Summer Studios and Fa’aalualu Fetu Siva, Pule nurtures cultural confidence, technical skill, and creative expression in tama’ita’i, leading classes and workshops in Christchurch, Masterton, and Greytown. She creates safe, inclusive, and judgement-free spaces where students can connect, grow, and celebrate the joy and heritage of Siva Samoa.
