Open Breaking Jam

An open, welcoming session where dancers of all levels come together to train, share and inspire one another. These sessions are not structured classes, but an open space to practise what you’re learning, explore your own movement and be energised by dancing alongside others.

With music playing throughout, open jams offer time to experiment, create and develop your own style in a relaxed, supportive environment. Hosted every Friday from 6–8pm by the Common Ground crew, these jams are also a great way to connect with the wider Christchurch breaking community.

All experience levels are welcome – from complete beginners to seasoned dancers – everyone belongs on the floor.
