Savanah-Kui Tukariri (Kai Tahu, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Mutunga, Ngāti Whātua) is a Māori creative with a deep love for movement, storytelling, and connection. With over 30 years of experience in kapa haka, her practice is grounded in te ao Māori and the wisdom of moving and expressing through the body.
Savanah leads poi and Māori movement workshops across Ōtautahi, creating welcoming spaces for cultural sharing, creativity, and community. Her work has been shared with organisations and festivals including the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, The Court Theatre, Sport NZ, Tiny Fest, WHAO Festival, the World Buskers Festival, and Tīrama Mai.
