Handstands – Adult (18+)

All levels, Handstands

Build your handstand practice in a fun and supportive class for beginners through to advanced students.

Sessions focus on alignment, shoulder strength, core engagement, and safe entry and exit, using progressive drills to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

This class prioritises quality technique over quick tricks, helping you develop a confident and sustainable handstand practice.

No prior experience needed.

Class structure:
6:00–7:00pm — All levels
7:00–7:30pm — Optional extension for intermediate and advanced students

$25 for 60 mins (on-line booking, MOVE circus concession card or payment on the day)

$10 for the 30 minute class extension (on-line booking or payment on the day)

$35 for 90 mins intermediate and advanced extension (on-line booking or payment on the day)

Franklin Solar Navarrete

Franklin has spent over seven years exploring the art of handstands, a discipline that has become his favourite after trying many forms of circus. His background in capoeira, breakdance, and gymnastics gives him a rich, playful perspective on being upside down. Franklin loves the mindfulness of balance – where breath, focus, and body come together. In his classes, he creates an encouraging space for students of all levels to explore strength, awareness, and the joy of seeing the world from a new angle.
