What to expect

Activities are introduced in an accessible and supportive way, giving you opportunities to experiment with your voice and movement without needing to produce a finished piece or performance.

Voice, breath and movement

Our voices are connected to our bodies. Breath, posture, movement and physical awareness can all influence how we experience and express sound.

Embodied Voice & Movement creates space to explore these connections through playful exercises and shared experiences. The class can support greater body awareness, listening, confidence and self-expression, while encouraging you to approach your voice with curiosity rather than judgement.

Who is this Embodied Voice & Movement class for?

This class is open to all levels, and no previous singing, dance, movement or performance experience is required.

It’s suitable for anyone who is curious about exploring their voice through movement, wants to develop greater body awareness, or simply enjoys experimenting with sound and physical expression.

You don’t need to consider yourself a singer or performer to participate. The class is about exploration rather than perfection, creating a welcoming environment where you can discover and express your voice at your own pace.
