Louis David Simoneau

Louis-David is a highly experienced circus artist and teacher whose love of trapeze began at age 14 and quickly led him to train at the National Circus School in Montréal. There, he developed a broad acrobatic practice across Cyr wheel, aerial silks, hand-to-hand and hand balancing, specialising in duo trapeze. After graduating, he performed his duo act more than 850 times in the original creation of Cirque du Soleil’s Totem, before moving into solo work and international collaborations across a wide range of circus projects. Alongside performing, Louis-David has a strong passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge with emerging circus artists. He later formed a new duo trapeze partnership with Marie-Christine Fournier, earning the Golden Grock at the Vaudreuil-Dorion International Circus Festival, and has since performed worldwide with companies including Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize, Palazzo and Wintergarten Varieté.
