Bollywood Dance Fitness

Bollywood Dance Fitness is a 50 minute vibrant workout inspired by the colourful world of Bollywood. The class features easy-to-follow dance routines that naturally build cardio fitness, along with simple strength-building movements to help participants feel fit and fantastic.

With upbeat Indian music and supportive guidance throughout, it offers an enjoyable and uplifting experience. No dance experience is required — just a love of music and movement.

Requirements:

Recommended for ages 14+. Participants aged 60+ are encouraged to have a basic level of cardio fitness.

Justine Holmes, Sri Shastri

Music, dance, and exercise are Justine’s happy place, and she loves inspiring others to move and discover the benefits for body and mind. In her thirties she realised the power of exercise, and at 44 she became a Zumba instructor—never looking back! Justine now teaches a variety of classes including Zumba, Zumba Gold, Seated Zumba Gold, Senior Strength & Balance, Aqua, Bollywood, and RGM Brain Training. Her classes are welcoming, social, and fun, bringing people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds together to move, connect, and enjoy the joy of movement.

Sri is a Bollywood dance fitness instructor with over five years of teaching experience in New Zealand. Trained in Indian classical dance in India, she performed in numerous shows and presentations before moving overseas for higher education. While Sri holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics and can often be found in a lab coat by day, her true passion is dance. She brings energy, joy, and cultural richness to her classes, creating an inclusive, fun space where students of all abilities can move, connect, and experience the vibrant world of Bollywood dance.
