Together We Are Stronger |
The Ōtautahi circus residency

Together We Are Stronger (TWAS) is supported by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage’s Regeneration Fund. The funding is a part of the establishment of the MOVE studios at Parakiore Recreation and Sports Centre, opening in 2025.

TWAS was originally delivered in Tāmaki Makaurau by The Dust Palace Charitable Trust in 2021, supporting local emerging  circus companies to facilitate the creative and development processes required to bring a show concept into a full production.  This programme has now been rewritten by MOVE to serve the same intentions but for the Christchurch circus community.

This residency is your invitation to join a community eager to support and witness the growth of your artistic vision. Over seven days, your ensemble will have the opportunity to reimagine your works with the guidance of artistic and technical tutors.
